The 1971 W F Holdsworth Cyclone all her glory and the new colour has been carefully selected from a range which Paulus Quiros had made up specially to my  specification.

The wheels have been rebuilt on the original Campagnolo Record hubs of some 35 years vintage.
The wheel rims are Weinman alloy and were the original wheels from 1971.

This is very interesting picture of the bottom bracket and the junction of the various tubes and in particular it clearly shows the clamped on Front derailleur, and also details of the stronglight chain wheel. The clever lining in the dark blue creates a fine comparison with that all the frame colour.

This picture shows the detail of the stronglight chain wheel and cranks and the double chainwheel  set behind further detail of part  area can be clearly seen of the P3 pedals by Campagnolo again of vintage date.

The chain wheel and Cranks together with the Front derailleur are clearly shown with the pedals with the wrap around leather to the toe clips. The mudguards clearly show how much they cover the tyre area so avoiding the usual muck that is so often thrown up from the tyre.

Here we have A fine example of the craftsman's work in the detail lining upon the front forks. I have particularly requested that the original lamp bracket be retained so insuring the originality of the vintage features remained where ever possible.

This is an interesting illustration showing Lee Brooks Imperial saddle complete with cut out and the strapping can be clearly seen with a small piece sticking out under the saddle itself. The under frame of this particular saddle by Messers  Brooks has a chrome under frame which blends with the seat pillar. Further details of the very clever lining is clearly shown and the intriguing fixings for the rear Carrier.

As many of the Holdsworth models were available with Campagnolo dropouts we can see owing to the age of the bike during the restoration it can be clearly seen that part of the dropout has been painted and a little of the chrome is still showing. The main reason for this illustration is to show the detail there has been built into the considerably unique rear Carrier.

Here we had a superb shot of the front end of my Holdsworth bicycle, and in particular The contrast Ivory colour Head tube which has the lightning curling around the lugs The contrast colour which has previously been sprayed onto the mudguards is also very clear.

Sorry Jose .... I didn't hear what you said ....

I think this is a lovely shot on the front end up my bike firstly it clearly shows me drilled brake levers and the blend of colour of both the bars and the lever hoods.

Another very fine illustration of a front end of my bike and shown in detail are the new calliper  brakes. The pump pegs and the braze on to the Campagnolo levers are all original from when  the bike was new. Personally I simply think in its new colours it is very much like new.

Neatly written on the down tube together with the firms Icon is the mention of restoration and whom it was carried out by

The original headset is shown in this photograph and the detail of the very fine linining and not only on the top tube but also around the simple but very pleasant design of the lugs. The excellent hand that wrote 'Cyclone' gives a very neat finish to this original 1971 Bicycle.

Here we have a perfect view of the chain stay decoration which matches on the opposite Side combined with the vintage  components certainly brings back the detail of a vintage bicycle.

Here we have an interesting view of both of the chain stains and the detail of how the mudguard has been neatly formed to fit the tight chain stays. The P3 Campagnolo pedal and toe clip is just in view and here again these were specified in 1971.

These specially machined handlebar and stop together with the beautiful so on leather provides for A superb finish

This is a very interesting shot and if one looks closely at the rear hub one can see quite clearly  the' Campagnolo Record ' icon. Also one can clearly see the new Regina Block with drilled out cog wheels.

Here we have a superb view of the Central mechanics of the chainwheel and the rear derailleur after the considerable restoration work. Note all these components hail from 1971.
